Agra, February 17: A Bangladeshi woman is arrested by NIA and UP ATS from Agra. The woman Fatima is partner of the mastermind behind the fake notes racket.
Fatima was living in the Agra's Sushil Nagar since a long time. The investigation is going on where and how the fake notes are passed by.
According to the information, the police raided in the Agra's Sushil Nagar, and arrested 42-years-old Fatima on Thursday. Fatima is from Bangladesh and she works with the master mind behind fake notes, Abdul Salaam.
According to UP ATS, NIA Agra will present the arrested woman in the court through transit remand. Two fake notes of 1,000, a passbook of PNB, Aadhaar Card, mobile phone and three sims are also recovered from Fatima.
A Bangladesh citizen Anarul Islam was arrested by NIA in January 2016, from Malda, West Bengal. Fake notes of Rs 8,00,000 were also recovered from him. After the investigation by NIA, Anarul had taken Fatima's name.
