Gurugram, March 8 : Three men had a party in a club in DT Mega mall situated in MG Road of Gurugram and paid their bill in fake currency. More than half of the notes paid in the bill are fake.
All the fake notes are in the denomination of 100. The case came into light after the inspection. The manger of the club filed the case against three men. Police has arrested two accused men and the third one is absconding. Police is investigating further.
Sonu, club's manager said, "three guest, Captain Singh, Romi Singh and Bittu from Punjab's Amritsar came into his club on February 27. They had their meals and their bill was worth Rs 8,900."
He further said, "Among the Rs 8,900, Rs 5,100 were fake. All were of 100 rupees fake notes. When the accused were told about the fake notes, they said that their car is parked in the parking, they will bring money from the car."
One of the club's employee went with them. But it is claimed that they went away without paying. The accused had come in I-20 car.
Police has filed the case against them.The car's number has also been got from the manager of the club.
The investigation officer of the case, ASI Rajesh from DLF Phase- 1 police station, said they have arrested 2 accused and will arrest the third accused soon.
Police is interrogating the arrested accused.
