New Delhi, March 19: The battleground for Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) intensifies as the all parties are ready to tie their Knot for the upcoming MCD polls.
Yogendra Yadav-led Swaraj India today started its campaign for the upcoming civic polls in Delhi with the launch of the party's first roadshow here.
Also, a number of AAP MLAs, along with the candidates, today held street corner meetings at several place and addressed the volunteers.
The Arvind Kejriwal-led party also inaugurated some election offices, it said in a press release.
AAP said that it has 248 candidates campaigning on the ground. "Today, with the Mass Contact Sunday, AAP's MCD election campaign has truly begun," it added..
Meanwhile, Yadav launched the Swaraj India's road show in outer Delhi, from Bijwasan.
Ajay Maken led Congress is also getting ready viewing theri chance to rule MCD after the criticzing views raising Against Delhi Government.
During the campaign, Yadav attacked the BJP and the PM, AAP and the Congress party.
In the upcoming elections, the party is beginning its electoral journey and is contesting all the 272 seats.
