New Delhi, March 21: 20-year-old woman delivered a girl inside a Delhi Police PCR van while she was being taken to a hospital.
A call was received on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday about a woman being in labour pain in Jagatpuri in east Delhi.
The PCR van rushed to the spot and picked up the woman, along with her aunt.
While the PCR was rushing towards Aruna Asaf Ali Hospital, the woman's pain intensified, said a senior police officer.
The police vehicle was stopped near Wazirabad Flyover and a woman constable helped in the delivery, the officer added.
The mother and the baby girl were taken to the hospital where they were doing fine, he added.
