Delhi: Fire Breaks Out In Plastic Godown- Property Worth Lakhs Of Rupees Becomes Ash

There was a fierce fire in the plastic godown on Saturday evening in the Swaroop Nagar of North West Delhi. Large number of plastic tyres and other items were kept in the godown, the fire grew so fast that it was difficult to control for several hours. Fire flames and smoke took the whole warehouse into its possession. Fire Brigade vehicles are trying for several hours to get control over fire.

Initially, when the fire department was called to the fire station, 6 to 7 vehicles of the fire brigade reached the fire station. The warehouse of about two thousand yards was full of plastic goods, along with some other stuff that was kept in it, all was burnt down. Twenty vehicles of fire brigade are still trying to extinguish the fire so far the fire is not fully controlled.

What is the reason for the fire? It is a matter of investigation later but at present the firefighters are engaged in fire extinguishing but it is fortunate that no person was trapped in this fire. Therefore, no loss of life was reported till now. At present, fire extinguishers are in progress and so far the fire is not fully controlled.
